Aqualia is one of the top 100 companies to work for in Spain

Aqualia has received the distinction of being one of the top 100 companies to work for in Spain according to the annual ranking of Actualidad Económica magazine, which is the last word in Spain's financial press. The company is the sole water management company in the 20th edition of this ranking, which recognises the outstanding efforts of companies in human resources.

The publication showcased Aqualia's working environment, training offered to employees and talent management policy as its strengths. In this regard, it's been one year since the company began its commitment to being a family-friendly enterprise and set out on the EFR certification project. Since then, the company has made significant headway insofar as its objectives for striking a family-career balance with the assistance off the Más Familia Foundation and, this past May, secured the EFR Family-Friendly Enterprise Certificate from the Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality in the Ministry.

Thanks to the commitment of all employees, beginning from senior management at Aqualia, the company is working to meet the pending challenges to guarantee the balance between the personal and professional lives of all employees.

The Garrigues law firm leads the ranking of the top 100 companies to work for in Spain. Aqualia is one of the seven utilities outstanding in human resource management according to the ranking, which also recognises the endeavours of Enagas, Naturgy, Sacyr, Iberdrola, EDP España and Ferrovial.

The ranking is determined through a questionnaire-based grading system supervised by consultants and independent experts in human resources that analyses and evaluates talent management, remuneration and economic consideration paid to employees, work environment, company social policies, staff training investments and the valuation of the company's own workers.
