Communities in Spain and Columbia will benefit from new local partnerships with Aqualia to support workers with Asperger’s syndrome and improve water purification, thanks to new funding from IFM Investors, the Australian ethical fund shareholder of the water company.
SEFO, Aqualia's French subsidiary that operates mainly in Île de France and Brittany, has just won a new wastewater treatment contract in the Dreux area, in the Eure-et-Loire department (Centre-Loire Valley region), to manage the wastewater of 41 municipalities.

After winning the corresponding public tender against Veolia, the Spanish company Aqualia has begun operating the end-to-end water cycle in Riohacha, capital of the Colombian department of La Guajira, in the Caribbean region, in the north-east of the country.
