In just one year of management, the joint venture has managed to reduce the ratio of Non Revenue Water (losses in the supply network) to less than 5% and the level of customer satisfaction is above 95%, according to an internal evaluation carried out among the users of the port.

In addition, the company has ended this first year of management with zero occupational accidents thanks to its strong commitment to health and safety.

The joint venture wants to continue taking steps in its road to excellence and is already preparing a sanitation network monitoring system and another real-time supply network to further reduce leaks.

The integration of local talent in a structure defined by Aqualia's experience and know-how, as well as the efficient management of assets and health and safety, quality and the environment, make this public-private partnership an exemplary water resource management model. In just one year, OSWS has obtained the ISO 9001 (quality) and 14001 (environment) certifications and will shortly carry out the audit to attain the OHSAS 18001 (health and safety) certification, which shows how quickly an integral implementation in a local activity has been achieved.

Meanwhile, in the first half of 2020, the company is expected to receive the ISO 55,001 asset management certification. As such, the company will accredit the proactive management that it carries out for the life cycle of the assets, something that, in turn, contributes to improving operating results, activity performance and, ultimately, improve the company's profit.he integration of local talent in a structure defined by Aqualia's experience and know-how, as well as the efficient management of assets and health and safety, quality and the environment, make this public-private partnership an exemplary water resource management model.
