aqualia present at major industry meetings in the Middle East
The Saudi Water & Power Forum and the National Water Company Focus Day are a meeting point for water and energy industries' main players

aqualia will be attending two major industry meetings held in the the Middle East area: Saudi Water and Power Forum (SWPF) and the National Water Company Focus Day . Both are held in the city of Jeddah from December 1st till December 4th at the Hilton Hotel in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia.
The SWPF , attended by five hundred delegates , is the main meeting and discussion point of the water and energy sectors in Saudi Arabia. This year is the ninth SWPF edition and will be held under the title " Shaping the Future of Sustainable Development Utility ".
On its behalf aqualia will have an information point at the event and will be represented by Jose Enrique Bofill , Middle East director, who participates in the 5th session "Efficiency Oportunities " on December 3th at 14:00 along with representatives of the National Power Company, Siemens Energy and GE Power & Water, among others.
The following day, December 4th, Wednesday, aqualia has been invited to participate in the National Water Company Focus Day 2013 . aqualia will expose its experience in the design and implementation of district metered areas and reduction of non-revenue water currently held in the Saudi capital , Riyadh.
Responsibles of different areas of the National Water Company, leading authority on water management in the country, will be taking part in the session, which is entitled "Enhancement water projects in Riyadh”.
The work aqualia is developing will optimize the water supply network of the Saudi capital, more than 6,000 kilometers long. Enhancement operations will allow us to offer better service to more than 3 million people. According to José Enrique Bofill , director of aqualia in the Middle East , "this is one of the most iconic district metered areas projects developed in the world, not only for its features but also for being the first water management contract awarded to a Spanish company in the Middle East. "
